I’ve spent the past few weeks creating a series of tutorials on using CouchDB and PouchDB in Ionic and in that series we’ve managed to build out quite a lot of functionality. There was absolutely zero thought of effort put into the design though, all the work was purely functional, so I thought it would be interesting to record the process of giving that application a bit of a makeover.
In this video tutorial, I start with the dull and boring application that was built in the CouchDB series and work on adding some basic styling to create something that is more appealing.
